In a statement sent to Manila Standard Entertainment by ABS-CBN Corporate Communications team, the network said that Regine was recently exposed to someone who tested positive for COVID-19 and she is now in quarantine.
“We apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused. All tickets sold with the original date will be honored on the new ‘Freedom’ concert schedule, which will be announced soon,” the statement said.
“The health and safety of our artist and staff is our priority and we are thankful for your support and understanding,” the statement ended.
“Freedom” is produced by ABS-CBN Events, IME, and PLDT and will be directed by Paolo Valenciano with musical direction from Raul Mitra.
