MANILA, Philippines — The campaign headquarters of presidential candidate former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and his running mate Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio in Mandaluyong will be closed for another week.

A majority of the volunteers and staff of Marcos and Carpio reportedly tested positive for COVID-19.

According to the camp of Marcos and Carpio, at least 68 members of their staff contracted the virus.

Marcos ordered the lockdown of their headquarters on Monday.

Marcos went on quarantine and failed to attend the virtual hearing of the Commission on Elections on his disqualification cases after he was reportedly exposed to his staff, who tested positive for the virus.
