BACOLOD CITY, Philippines — A former officer-in-charge of the Negros Occidental police is the new spokesman of the Philippine National Police (PNP).
Col. Roderick Alba replaced Brig. Gen. Rolando Olay, who was designated head of the PNP Directorate for Logistics.
Prior to his appointment, Alba served as deputy director of the PNP Directorate for Information Technology Management System.
A member of the Philippine National Police Academy Class of 1992, Alba also served as former Iloilo police director.
