How to watch Nets vs. Spurs: Live stream, TV channel, start time for Sunday’s NBA game

Who’s Playing

San Antonio @ Brooklyn

Current Records: San Antonio 15-23; Brooklyn 24-13

What to Know

The Brooklyn Nets’ homestand continues as they prepare to take on the San Antonio Spurs at noon ET Jan. 9 at Barclays Center. The Nets are out to stop a nine-game streak of losses at home.

The game between Brooklyn and the Milwaukee Bucks this past Friday was not a total blowout, but with Brooklyn falling 121-109 at home, it was darn close to turning into one. Power forward Kevin Durant put forth a good effort for the losing side as he had 29 points and seven assists in addition to nine boards.

Meanwhile, San Antonio received a tough blow this past Friday as they fell 119-100 to the Philadelphia 76ers. One thing holding San Antonio back was the mediocre play of shooting guard Bryn Forbes, who did not have his best game: he finished with only seven points on 3-for-14 shooting in his 31 minutes on the court.

Brooklyn is the favorite in this one, with an expected 9.5-point margin of victory. Now might not be the best time to take the Nets against the spread since they’ve let down bettors for the past five consecutive games.

Both of these teams will be looking to put their recent losses behind them and walk away with a win. Check back to see which squad is able to work their way into the win column.
