McDonald’s marks lockdown anniversary, treats delivery riders to breakfast

Fast food giant McDonald’s marks the first year of Metro Manila lockdown by treating delivery riders to a free breakfast meal.

Delivery riders will be treated to a breakfast meal on March 16.

On March 16, the chain will be giving each rider a free Cheesy Eggdesal with Minute Maid for every McDonald’s delivery made between 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. The free breakfast treat includes deliveries made via McDelivery, GrabFood, and foodpanda.

“Delivery riders have been our lifeline in these challenging times, and their sacrifices and hard work have made the past year much easier for everyone. As we mark the first year of the lockdown, McDonald’s honors and gives thanks to these delivery riders with a hearty breakfast to start their day,” said McDonald’s Philippines marketing director Oliver Rabatan.
