Pistons vs. Magic: How to watch NBA online, TV channel, live stream info, game time

Through 3 Quarters

Both the Detroit Pistons and the Orlando Magic suffered losses in their previous contests, and after three quarters neither squad is closer to making up for it this week. The Pistons and Orlando are all tied up at 73.

Small forward Saddiq Bey has led the way so far for Detroit, as he has 16 points along with six boards. One thing to keep an eye out for is Cade Cunningham’s foul situation as he currently sits at four.

The Magic have been relying on shooting guard Gary Harris, who has shot 5-for-9 from downtown and has recorded 23 points and six rebounds, and point guard Cole Anthony, who has 16 points and five assists in addition to five rebounds.

What to Know

The Detroit Pistons will be returning home after a three-game road trip. They will take on the Orlando Magic at 7 p.m. ET Saturday at Little Caesars Arena. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Detroit was expected to have a tough go of it on Thursday, and that’s exactly how things played out. 2022 “welcomed” them with a 118-88 beatdown courtesy of the Memphis Grizzlies. The Pistons were down 90-68 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from. Point guard Killian Hayes just could not get things rolling his way, playing for 29 minutes but putting up just five points on 2-for-10 shooting and four turnovers.

Meanwhile, Orlando came up short against the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday, falling 116-106. Despite the defeat, Orlando had strong showings from point guard Cole Anthony, who had 26 points and seven assists in addition to five boards, and center Mo Bamba, who had 19 points along with eight rebounds.

Barring any buzzer beaters, Detroit is expected to win a tight contest. They have failed bettors playing the spread in their past two games, so buyers beware.

Detroit is now 7-30 while the Magic sit at 7-32. A couple offensive stats to keep in the back of your head while watching: The Pistons have only been able to knock down 41.40% percent of their shots, which is the second lowest field goal percentage in the league. Orlando has experienced some struggles of their own as they have only been able to knock down 42.70% percent of their shots, which is the third lowest field goal percentage in the league. It could be a slow night.
